यूपी में वाहन खरीदना होगा महंगा, 10 लाख की गाड़ी के लिए देने होंगे अतिरिक्त 10 हजार रुपये

यूपी कैबिनेट के एक अहम फैसले के बाद अब प्रदेश में गाड़ी लेना महंगा हो जाएगा। इससे विभाग को प्रतिवर्ष करीब 415 करोड़ का फायदा होगा।

प्रदेश में दो पहिया और चार पहिया वाहन खरीदना महंगा हो गया है। सरकार ने वाहन खरीद पर एक फीसदी रोड टैक्स बढ़ा दिया है। अभी तक जिन दो पहिया वाहन का मूल्य एक लाख है। अब उन पर एक हजार रुपया अतिरिक्त खर्च करना पड़ेगा। इसी तरह 10 लाख तक के चार पहिया वाहन पर 10 हजार रुपया अतिरिक्त देना होगा। परिवहन विभाग के इस प्रस्ताव को मंगलवार को हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में मंजूरी दे दी गई है।

परिवहन निगम की ओर से राजस्व में वृद्धि एवं परिवहन विभाग के कर ढ़ांचे में परिवर्तन करने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश मोटरयान कराधान अधिनियम 1997 की धारा 4(1) के अधीन पूर्व में निर्गत अधिसूचनाओं को अवक्रमित करते हुए नवीन अधिसूचना जारी करने का प्रस्ताव रखा गया, जिसे कैबिनेट ने मंजूर कर दिया है।

नई अधिसूचना जारी होते ही अब प्रदेश में गाड़ी खरीदना महंगा हो जाएगा । अभी तक 10 लाख से कम कीमत की नॉन एसी गाड़ी पर सात फीसदी टैक्स लगता था, जो बढ़कर अब आठ फीसदी हो जाएगा। इसी तरह 10 लाख से कम कीमत वाली वातानुकूलित गाड़ी पर अब तक आठ प्रतिशत टैक्स लगता था, जो अब नौ फीसदीऔर 10 लाख से अधिक कीमत वाली चार पहिया वाहनों पर अब 10 के बजाय 11 फीसदी टैक्स देना होगा। परिवहन मंत्री दयाशंकर सिंह ने बताया कि निजी हल्के वाहनों पर रोड टैक्स करीब 10 साल बाद बढ़ाए गए हैं। महाराष्ट्र, राजस्थान सहित विभिन्न राज्यों से तुलना की जाए तो अभी भी उत्तर प्रदेश में रोड टैक्स कम है।

40 हजार से ज्यादा वालों पर बढ़ेगा भार
अधिसूचना के मुताबिक 40 हजार से कम कीमत वाले दो पहिया वाहन पर पहले की तरह सात फीसदी की टैक्स लिया जाएगा, जबकि 40 हजार से अधिक मूल्य के दो पहिया वाहनों पर एक फीसदी अधिक टैक्स देना होगा।

भारी वाहनों को नई सुविधा
माल वाहक के रूप में प्रयोग होने वाले 7.50 टन से अधिक भार वाले वाहनों को अब तिमाही के बजाय एक मुश्त टैक्स देना होगा। इससे उन्हें बार- बार कार्यालय के चक्कर नहीं लगाने पड़ेंगे। वे खरीदते समय ही रोड टैक्स जमा कर देंगे। इसकी दर में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है।

412 से 415 करोड़ तक का होगा फायदा
प्रदेश में वाहनों पर रोड टैक्स एक फीसदी बढ़ाने से परिवहन विभाग को करीब 412 से 415 करोड़ तक अतिरिक्त राजस्व मिलेगा। परिवहन विभाग इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों की करीद पर कई तरह की छूट दे रही है। इससे विभाग को करीब एक हजार करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान हो रहा है। रोड टैक्स में बढोतरी से इस नुकसान की भरपाई की जा सकेगी।

यूपी में गाडि़यों की बिक्री का औसत
उत्तर प्रदेश में इन दिनों करीब 4.82 करोड़ गाड़ियां हैं। हर साल औसतन 30 से 32 लाख गाडि़यों की संख्या बढ़ती है। विभाग को वाहनों के चालान से शमन शुल्क के रूप में हर साल करीब 165.74 करोड़ रुपये का राजस्व आता है।
