कूड़ा और पराली जलाने से वेस्ट यूपी के जिलों में बढ़ा वायु प्रदूषण, चेक करें एक्‍यूआई

कड़ाके की ठंड के बीच कूड़ा और पराली जलाने से वेस्ट यूपी के जिलों में वायु प्रदूषण बढ़ गया है। तापमान में गिरावट और लकड़ी की कमी के कारण लोग कूड़ा जलाते नजर आए। साथ ही आस-पास के राज्यों में से पराली जलाने की भी जानकारी मिली है। इन्हीं कारणों से दिल्ली में प्रदूषण बढ़ रहा है जिसका असर पश्चिम यूपी के शहरों पर देखने को मिल रहा है। नोएडा, ग्रेटर नोएडा, गाजियाबाद, मेरठ, मुजफ्फरनगर, बागपत और खुर्जा जैसे इलाकों में अभी भी हवा में जहर घुला हुआ है। इन शहरों में एक्यूआई 250 के पार ही दर्ज किया जा रहा है।

वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (UPPCB) के अनुसार, लखनऊ और यूपी के अन्य शहरों में कुल वायु प्रदूषण में 90% योगदान यातायात की भीड़ के कारण जर्जर सड़कों और कार्बन उत्पादन का है। इसी कारण यूपी की राजधानी लखनऊ का एक्यूआई मंगलवार सुबह 281 दर्ज किया गया है।

इसके अलावा हवा की गुणवत्ता बहुत खराब श्रेणी वाले शहरों में गाजियाबाद 314 एक्यूआई के साथ, ग्रेटर नोएडा 336 एक्यूआई के साथ और नोएडा 347 एक्यूआई के साथ शामिल है। लखनऊ के अलावा, यूपी के चार अन्य शहरों में ‘खराब’ AQI दर्ज किया गया, जिसमें बुलंदशहर (243), कानपुर (261), खुर्जा (210) और मेरठ (222) शामिल हैं।
