देहरादून: जौलीग्रांट बनेगा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट

उत्तराखंड से आने वाले समय में अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई उड़ान शुरू होगी। इसके लिए उत्तराखंड नागरिक उड्डयन विकास प्राधिकरण ने कवायद शुरू कर दी है। सिंगापुर, दुबई, कोलंबो, कुआलालंपुर और बैंकॉक के लिए सीधी हवाई सेवा संचालित होने से पर्यटन के साथ औद्योगिक निवेश को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

इसके अलावा देश के छह शहरों के लिए घरेलू उड़ान शुरू करने की तैयारी है। उत्तराखंड नागरिक उड्डयन विकास प्राधिकरण (यूकाडा) की पांच अगस्त को एविएशन कंपनियों के साथ बैठक है। उड़ान योजना के तहत उत्तराखंड से देश के कई शहरों के लिए हवाई सेवा संचालित है, लेकिन अभी तक दूसरे देशों के लिए सीधी हवाई सेवा नहीं है।

राज्य में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के साथ ही औद्योगिक निवेश के लिए नामी निवेशकों को आकर्षित करने के लिए कई देशों के लिए सीधी उड़ान शुरू करने की कवायद चल रही है। वैश्विक निवेशक सम्मेलन के रोड शो के दौरान सिंगापुर और दुबई के निवेशकों ने सीधी एयर कनेक्टिविटी की मांग रखी थी। इस देखते हुए प्रदेश सरकार का सिंगापुर, दुबई, कोलंबो, बैंकॉक और कुआलालंपुर के लिए हवाई सेवा शुरू करने पर फोकस है।
