भिलाई स्टील प्लांट में लगातार हादसों से नाराज ठेका श्रमिकों ने किया प्रदर्शन

भिलाई, भिलाई इस्पात संयंत्र में बीते 9 दिन में चार हादसों में दो ठेका श्रमिकों की मौत हो गई। लगातार हादसों से नाराज ठेका श्रमिकों ने शुक्रवार की सुबह 8:00 बजे से 8:30 बजे तक संयंत्र के जोरातराई गेट के सामने प्रदर्शन किया।

हाथों में तख्ती लिए ठेका श्रमिकों ने प्रदर्शन करते हुए कहा कि संयंत्र प्रबंधन उत्पादन को बनाए रखने के लिए ठेका श्रमिकों को मौत के मुंह में झोंक रहा है। जोरातराई में प्रदर्शन के दौरान पार्षद हरीश नायक सहित ठेका श्रमिक यूनियन सीटू के पदाधिकारी भी मौजूद थे।

श्रमिक की मौके पर हो गई थी मौत

उल्लेखनीय है कि गुरुवार को संयंत्र के स्टील मेल्टिंग शॉप क्रमांक 2 के कनवर्टर में कार्य के दौरान लोहे का चेन सिर पर गिरने से ठेका श्रमिक अर्जुन कुमार को गंभीर चोटे आई थी और मौके पर ही उसकी मौत हो गई। उक्त ठेका श्रमिक जोरातराई ग्राम का निवासी था। इधर आज उक्त ठेका श्रमिक का शव लेने परिजन सेक्टर 9 अस्पताल के शवघर में सुबह 10:00 बजे के करीब पहुंच गए थे।

1 जून से 9 जून तक हुए 4 हादसे

मौके पर ही भिलाई इस्पात संयंत्र के अधिकारी भी पहुंचे और उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि संयंत्र के नियमों के तहत ठेका श्रमिक के एक आश्रित की नियुक्ति दी जाएगी। उल्लेखनीय है कि संयंत्र में बीते 1 जून से 9 जून तक कुल 4 हादसों में दो ठेका श्रमिकों की मौत हो चुकी है वहीं 8 लोग दुर्घटनाओं में घायल हुए हैं। इनमें केवल 2 नियमित कर्मचारी हैं वहीं शेष ठेका श्रमिक है।

बीएसपी ने हादसे में मृत ठेका श्रमिक की पत्नी को दी नौकरी
