केंद्र की तरफ से अब किसी भी राज्य को विशेष दर्जा नहीं मिल पाएगा। केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने इस बात पर मुहर लगा दी है। केंद्र के इस ऐलान के बाद बिहार समेत अन्य गरीब राज्यों में राजनीतिक भूचाल आ गया है। बिहार में जदयू और राजद की महागठबंधन की सरकार केंद्र के इस फैसले का विरोध कर रही है। बिहार के वित्त मंत्री विजय कुमार चौधरी ने कहा कि अगर गरीब राज्यों को केंद्र से विशेष सहायता नहीं मिली तो देश में क्षेत्रीय विषमताएं बढ़ना तय है।

दरअसल, केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने शुक्रवार को भुवनेश्वर में कहा कि वित्त आयोग ने केंद्र को एक सिफारिश की है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि किसी भी राज्य को विशेष दर्जा नहीं दिया जाएगा। केंद्र अब किसी भी राज्य को विशेष दर्जे की मांग पर विचार नहीं करेगा।
