बता दें कि पणजी में 1 मई को मजदूर दिवस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया था। इस समारोह में सावंत ने कहा कि राज्य में काम करने वाले हर प्रवासी मजदूर के पास राज्य सरकार द्वारा दिया गया लेबर कार्ड होना चाहिए। गोवा सरकार प्राइवेट, असंगठित और इंडस्ट्रियल सेक्टर में काम करने वालों को रोजगार का रिकॉर्ड रखने के साथ-साथ इस सेक्टर के कल्याणकारी उपायों का विस्तार करने के लिए लेबर कार्ड जारी करती है।

प्रमोद सावंत ने कहा कि गोवा में अपराध करने के बाद प्रवासी मजदूर अपने होम स्टेट भाग जाते हैं, जिसके कारण उनपर कार्रवाई करना काफी मुश्किल हो जाता है। मुख्यमंत्री ने गोवा में अपराध के अनुपात को लेकर कहा, ‘अगर हम अनुपात देखेंगे, तो गोवा में हुए अधिकतम 90 फीसदी अपराध प्रवासी मजदूरों ने किए हैं। फिर चाहे वे बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश या अन्य इलाकों से हों।

राज्य सरकार की बड़ी योजना
