पंजाब में 13 मार्च को हड़ताल पर रहेंगे रोडवेज मुलाजिम

पंजाब रोडवेज, पनबस/पीआरटीसी कांट्रेक्ट वर्कर्स यूनियन की तरफ से 11 मार्च को सभी बस डिपुओं पर गेट मीटिंग व रैलियां की जाएंगी और 12 मार्च को दोपहर 12 बजे से बस डिपुओं में बसें रोक दी जाएंगी। 13 मार्च को मुकम्मल हड़ताल करके यूनियन के सदस्य सुबह 10 बजे मोहाली से पंजाब विधानसभा की ओर कूच करेंगे।

मांगों को लेकर संघर्षरत पंजाब रोडवेज, पनबस/पीआरटीसी कांट्रेक्ट वर्कर्स यूनियन ने अब 13 मार्च को मुकम्मल हड़ताल करने का ऐलान कर दिया है। यूनियन इससे पहले 11 मार्च को सभी परिवहन डिपुओं पर गेट मीटिंग व रैलियां करेगी और 12 मार्च को दोपहर 12 बजे से सभी डिपुओं में बसों को रोक दिया जाएगा।

यूनियन के पदाधिकारियों ने कहा कि उन्होंने यह फैसला परिवहन विभाग के अधिकारियों द्वारा उनकी मान ली गई मांगों को भी लागू करने में अड़ंगा लगाए जाने से तंग आकर लिया है। यूनियन के सदस्य 13 मार्च को मोहाली से पंजाब विधानसभा की तरफ मार्च भी निकालेंगे।

लुधियाना में हुई प्रदेश प्रधान रेशम सिंह गिल की अध्यक्षता में यूनियन की प्रदेश स्तरीय बैठक हुई, जिसमें सभी जिलों के पदाधिकारी भी शामिल हुए। बैठक में रेशम सिंह गिल ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार बार-बार बैठकें बुलाकर मान ली गई मांगों को तोड़-मरोड़ कर लागू कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हाल ही में परिवहन मंत्री, परिवहन सचिव, एमडी के साथ हुई बैठकों में लिए गए फैसलों को परिवहन विभाग के कुछ अधिकारियों द्वारा लागू करने में रुकावटें खड़ी की जा रही हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि निलंबित कांट्रेक्ट मुलाजिमों को आउटसोर्स के ठेकेदारों के पास भेजा जा रहा है और अब छुट्टी व विश्राम की अनुमति भी ठेकेदार से लेने को कहा जा रहा है।

उन्होंने कहा कि पिछली बैठक में यूनियन की सभी मांगों को पूरा करने पर सहमति जताई गई थी लेकिन जब मांगों को पूरा करने संबंधी पत्र जारी किए गए तो विभाग ने कई मांगों को तोड़-मरोड़ कर लागू किया है, जिसे लेकर मुलाजिमों में भारी रोष है।
