बरेली: पीएम मोदी के रोड शो के लिए चमकाया जा रहा राजेंद्रनगर

बरेली में 26 अप्रैल को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रस्तावित रोड शो के लिए राजेंद्रनगर को चमकाया जा रहा है। सड़कों से लेकर बिजली के खंभे, डिवाइडर तक सब चमकाए जा रहे हैं। डिवाइडरों की पेटिंग के साथ ही वहां फूलों के पौधे भी लगाए गए हैं। कहीं कोई कमी न रह जाए, लिहाजा दिन भर अधिकारी वहां के चक्कर लगाते रहे।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का रोड शो 1.2 किलोमीटर का होगा। यह स्वयंवर बरातघर से शुरू होकर छत्रपति शिवाजी चौक होते हुए बलिदानी पंकज अरोड़ा स्तंभ पहुंचकर संपन्न होगा। इस 1.2 किमी सड़क पर दिन-रात काम चल रहा है। सड़क को दो दिन पहली पानी से धोया गया था। 50 से ज्यादा सफाई कर्मी सड़क की सफाई में लगे हैं। महिला सफाई कर्मियों को भी लगाया गया है। सड़क के दोनों ओर नालों पर कई जगह स्लैब डलवाए गए हैं। नाले-नालियों को पूरी तरह से ढक दिया गया है।

बिजली के खंभों पर नई फैंसी लाइटों की झालरें लपेटी गई हैं। एक-एक खंभे को चेक किया जा रहा है। टूटे केबल बॉक्स बदले जा रहे हैं। जिन खंभों पर लाइटें नहीं हैं, वहां लगवाई जा रही हैं। कई खंभों पर पीली लाइटें लगवाई जा रही हैं, जिससे कि रात का दृश्य लुभावना लगे। रास्ते में आने वाले पेड़ों की टहनियों को छंटाई हो रही है।

रातोंरात बना दी सड़क
यूं तो नगर निगम ने आचार संहिता का हवाला देकर चुनाव के दौरान कोई भी नया काम करने से मना कर रखा है। तमाम वार्डों में सड़कों व नालियों का काम अटका पड़ा है। इधर, स्वयंवर बरातघर से रतन हलवाई वाली सड़क तक करीब 70 मीटर हिस्सा लंबे समय से उखड़ा पड़ा था। रोड शो को देखते हुए नगर निगम ने रातोंरात वहां सड़क बना दी है।

सड़कों पर लगाई जा रही बैरिकेडिंग ग्रिल
प्रधानमंत्री स्वयंवर बरातघर से सड़क के बाएं हिस्से पर चलेंगे। उन्हें देखने के लिए जनता दायीं तरफ की सड़क पर रहेगी। यहां बैरिकेडिंग ग्रिल लगाई जा रही है। दोनों सड़कों के बीच में डिवाडर के पास सुरक्षाकर्मियों के लिए गैलरी बनाई जा रही है। स्वयंवर बरातघर से लेकर बलिदानी पंकज अरोड़ा स्तंभ तक यह व्यवस्था की जा रही है।

पॉलिश कर चमकाए जा रहे खंभे व हैंडपंप
प्रधानमंत्री के रोड शो के लिए सड़क पर लगे हैंडपंपों को भी पॉलिश कर चमकाया जा रहा है। बिजली के खंभों पर भी पॉलिश की गई है। जहां-जहां ट्रांसफार्मर लगे हैं, वहां आसपास इंटरलॉकिंग करवा दी गई है। ट्रांसफार्मरों के पास से कूड़ा उठवाकर उन्हें कवर करवा दिया गया है।

कॉलोनियों के रास्ते किए बंद
26 अप्रैल तक राजेंद्रनगर की मुख्य सड़क के आसपास की काॅलोनियों में जाने वाले लोगों को परेशानी झेलनी पड़ेगी। सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से राजेंद्रनगर से अंदर काॅलोनियों को जाने वाले रास्ते को बंद कर दिया गया है। बुधवार को बमुश्किल यहां से छात्र-छात्राएं साइकिल से निकल सकीं। 26 को आवागमन पूरी तरह बंद कर दिया जाएगा।
