छत्तीसगढ़ के सभी नगरीय निकायों में बनेंगे ’कृष्ण कुंज’

रायपुर, 09 मई।छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने राज्य में सभी नगरीय क्षेत्रों में ’कृष्ण कुंज’ विकसित किए जाने का निर्णय लिया हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने सभी कलेक्टरों को ’कृष्ण कुंज’ विकसित करने के लिए वन विभाग को न्यूनतम एक एकड़ भूमि का आबंटन करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।कृष्ण कुंज में बरगद, पीपल, नीम और कदंब जैसे सांस्कृतिक महत्व के जीवनोपयोगी वृक्षों का रोपण किया जाएगा।आगामी कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के दिन पूरे राज्य में ’कृष्ण कुंज’ के लिए चिन्हित स्थल पर वृक्षों का रोपण प्रारंभ किया जाएगा।

श्री बघेल ने ’कृष्ण कुंज’ के माध्यम से वृक्षारोपण को जन अभियान बनाने की पहल करते हुए कहा है कि हमारे देश में बरगद, पीपल, नीम, कदंब तथा अन्य वृक्षों की पूजा करने की अत्यंत प्राचीन परंपरा है। मनुष्य के लिये वृक्षों की अत्यधिक उपयोगिता होने के कारण ही हमारी परंपराओं में इन्हें महत्वपूर्ण स्थान दिया गया है।इसलिए आवश्यक है कि मनुष्य के लिये जितने भी जीवनोपयोगी वृक्ष हैं, उन्हें सभी नगरीय क्षेत्रों में बड़े पैमाने पर लगाया एवं संरक्षित किया जाये।

उन्होने कहा कि वृक्षारोपण को जन जन से और अपनी सांस्कृतिक विरासत से जोडने एवं विशिष्ट पहचान देने के लिये इसका नाम ’कृष्ण कुंज’ रखा जाये। वन विभाग द्वारा आबंटित भूमि को विकसित करते हुए समस्त कार्यवाही इस प्रकार की जाये कि आगामी कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के दिन पूरे राज्य में ’कृष्ण कुंज’ में वृक्षों के रोपण का कार्य विधिवत प्रारंभ किया जा सके।
