श्रीनगर 27 अक्टूबर। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने आज कहा कि 22 फरवरी1994 को भारतीय संसद में सर्वसम्मति से पारित प्रस्ताव के कार्यान्वयन का उद्देश्य पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर के गिलगित और बाल्टिस्तान जैसे बाकी हिस्सों पर फिर से दावा करना है।

श्री सिंह ने आज यहां शौर्य दिवस समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि पाकिस्तान के अवैध कब्जे वाले कुछ इलाकेअब भी प्रगति से वंचित है। पाकिस्तान अपने कब्जे वाले कश्मीर में निर्दोष भारतीयों के खिलाफ अमानवीय घटनाओँ के लिए पूरी तरह जिम्मेदार है। आने वाले समय में पाकिस्तानको इसके नतीजे भुगतने होंगे।

श्री सिंह ने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता के बाद जम्मू कश्मीर की जनता दशकों तक विकास और शांति से वंचित रही।प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में सरकार ने अनुच्छेद 370 को हटा कर केन्द्र शासित प्रदेश जम्मू-कश्मीर में शांति और प्रगति के नए युग का सूत्रपात किया है।श्री सिंह ने जोर देकर कहा कि मौलिक अधिकारों का उल्लंघन आदर्श समाज में स्वीकार्य नहीं है। यह हमारी प्रतिबद्धता रही है। जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में अब विकास और शांति के नए द्वार खुले हैं।

उन्होने कहा कि यह शौर्य दिवस राष्ट्र को जांबाज जवानों के शौर्य का स्मरण कराता है और लोगों को एकता और समर्पण के साथ देश को ऊचांईयों तक ले जाने की प्रेरणा देता है। रक्षामंत्री ने कहा कि मेजर सोमनाथ शर्मा और अऩ्य नायक सदैव प्रत्येक भारतीय के लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत बने रहेंगे और राष्ट्र उनके बलिदानों के लिए ऋणी रहेगा।
