खरसिया से कोरीछापर रेल लाइन पर आज से मालगाड़ी का परिचालन शुरू

बिलासपुर 12 अक्टूबर।दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेलवे में ईस्ट रेल परियोजना के प्रथम चरण में खरसिया से कोरीछापर तक निर्मित 44 किलोमीटर लंबी रेल लाइन पर मालगाड़ी का परिचालन शुरू हो गया है।

इस नवनिर्मित रेल लाइन पर पहली मालगाड़ी का सफलतापूर्वक परिचालन किया गया।सुबह  खरसिया स्टेशन से 58 वैगन की एक खाली मालगाड़ी को कोरीछापर के लिए रवाना किया गया,जो कि वापसी में इस मालगाड़ी में कोयला लोड कर कोरीछापर स्टेशन से कुम्हारी स्टेशन के लिए रवाना किया गया।

ईस्ट रेल कारीडोर परियोजना के अंतर्गत प्रथम चरण में खरसियां-घरघोड़ा-कोरीछापर- धरमजयगढ़ सहित घरघोड़ा से डोंगा महुआ, गरे पेल्मा तक 102 किलोमीटर नई रेल लाइन का निर्माण किया जा रहा है।नई रेल लाइन परियोजना के अंतर्गत खरसिया से धरमजयगढ़ तक गुरदा, छाल, घरघोड़ा, कोरीछापर, कुरुमकेला, धरमजयगढ़, भालूमाड़ा एवं गरे पेलमा में 09 रेलवे स्टेशन बनाने की योजना है ।
