50 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग के लिए कोविड टीकाकरण अभियान मार्च में होगा शुरू

नई दिल्ली 15 फरवरी।स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य मंत्री डॉक्‍टर हर्षवर्धन ने कहा है कि सरकार 50 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वाले तीसरे वर्ग के लिए अगले महीने से कोविड टीकाकरण अभियान शुरू करेगी।

डा.वर्धन ने आज स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य मंत्रालय के बजट के बारे में पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए कहा कि केंद्र सरकार ने 16 जनवरी से स्‍वास्‍थ्‍यकर्मियों को कोविड टीका लगाने का अभियान शुरू किया था और दो फरवरी से कोरोना नियंत्रण के लिए अग्रिम पंक्ति के कार्यकर्ताओं के दूसरे वर्ग को टीका लगाने का कार्य शुरू किया गया।

उन्‍होंने बताया कि जिन लोगों को टीके की पहली खुराक दी जा चुकी है उन्‍हें इस महीने की 13 तारीख से दूसरी खुराक दी जा रही है। स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य मंत्री ने कहा कि इस समय 18 टीकों का विकास विभिन्‍न चरणों में है और इन्‍हें शीघ्र ही इस्‍तेमाल में लाना शुरू किया जाएगा।

डॉ. वर्धन ने इस बात से इन्‍कार किया कि देश में कोविड टीकाकरण के कारण कोई मृत्‍यु हुई है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि वर्ष 2021-22 के बजट में सरकार ने कोविड-19 टीके के लिए 35 हजार करोड रुपये का प्रावधान किया है।कोविड-19 की स्थिति के बारे में स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य मंत्री ने कहा कि पिछले सात दिनों में देश के 188 जिलों में कोविड संक्रमण का कोई नया मामला नहीं मिला और 76 जिलों में पिछले 28 दिनों से संक्रमण का कोई नया मरीज सामने नहीं आया।
