अरुणाचल प्रदेश के तवांग सेक्टर में भारत और चीन के सैनिकों की झड़प पर अमेरिका ने बयान दिया है. वाइट हाउस ने कहा, बाइडेन प्रशासन इस बात से खुश है कि भारत और चीन के सैनिक जल्द ही डिसएंगेज हो गए. मंगलवार को प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस (स्थानीय समयानुसार) में हाउस हाउस की प्रेस सेक्रेटरी काराइन जीन-पियरे ने कहा कि स्थिति पर अमेरिका पैनी नजर बनाए हुए है और दोनों ही पक्षों को विवादित सीमाओं पर चर्चा करने के लिए मौजूदा द्विपक्षीय चैनलों का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए.’

वहीं पेंटागन के प्रेस सचिव पैट राइडर ने कहा, हमने देखा है कि पीपुल्स रिपब्लिक ऑफ चाइना (पीआरसी) एलएसी के साथ-साथ सैन्य बुनियादी ढांचे का निर्माण जारी रखे हुए है. हमारी स्थिति पर नजर है. अमेरिका ने कहा, हम अपने भागीदारों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता पर अडिग हैं. हम स्थिति को नियंत्रित करने के भारत के प्रयासों का पूरा समर्थन करते हैं. 

बहादुरी से जवानों ने किया सामना

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि भारतीय सेना के जवानों ने 9 दिसंबर को अरुणाचल के तवांग सेक्टर के यांग्त्से क्षेत्र में वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा (एलएसी) का उल्लंघन करने से चीनी सेना को बहादुरी से रोका. अरुणाचल के तवांग सेक्टर के यांग्त्से क्षेत्र में हुई झड़प में चीनी सेना को 3 बटालियन ने खदेड़ दिया, जिसमें विभिन्न रेजिमेंट्स की इन्फेंट्री के जवान शामिल हैं. सूत्रों ने एएनआई को बताया कि यहां सिख लाइट इन्फेंट्री, जाट रेजिमेंट, जम्मू-कश्मीर राइफल्स के जवान तैनात थे, जहां चीनी सेना ने मौजूदा स्थिति बदलने की कोशिश की. चीनी सैनिक झड़प के लिए क्लब, लाठियों और अन्य उपकरणों से लैस थे. चीन के मंसूबों को भांपते हुए भारतीय सैनिक भी झड़प के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार थे.
