तिरूवंतपुरम 10 जून।केरल में बारिश से जुड़ी घटनाओं में करीब दस लोगों के मारे जाने की खबर है। राज्‍य में दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून मजबूत हुआ है।

राज्‍य के ज्‍यादातर हिस्‍सों में भारी बारिश के साथ तेज हवाएं चल रही हैं। सबसे ज्‍यादा असर इडुकी, तिरूअनंतपुरम, कोझीकोड, त्रिशूर और कन्‍नूर जिलों में पड़ा है। कई इलाकों में सड़क और रेल यातायात प्रभावित हुआ है। लगातार बारिश होने के कारण बिजली आपूर्ति पर भी असर पड़ा है।

सूत्रों के अनुसार इडुकी जिले से भूस्‍खलन की खबरें मिली हैं। प्रमुख जिलों में नियंत्रण कक्ष बना दिए गए हैं। पूरे राज्‍य में खेती को भी काफी नुकसान हुआ है।इस बीच मौसम विभाग ने बुधवार तक भारी वर्षा की संभावना जताई है।
