तीन तलाक विधेयक राष्ट्रपति की मंजूरी के साथ बना कानून

नई दिल्ली 01 अगस्त।राष्‍ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने कल मुस्लिम महिला विवाह अधिकार संरक्षण (तीन तलाक)विधेयक को मंजूरी दे दी।

इस विधेयक में मुस्लिम समुदाय में प्रचलित एक बार में तीन तलाक बोलने को अपराध माना गया है और इसके लिए पति को तीन साल की कैद का प्रावधान है। राष्‍ट्रपति की मंजूरी के बाद अब यह विधेयक कानून बन गया है।

राज्‍यसभा में 30 जुलाई को पारित होने के तुरन्‍त बाद राष्‍ट्रपति ने अपने ट्वीट में कहा था कि मुस्लिम महिला विवाह अधिकार संरक्षण विधेयक, 2019 संसद से पारित होने के बाद तीन तलाक की विषमतापूर्ण प्रथा पर प्रतिबंध की प्रक्रिया पूरी हो गई है। यह लैंगिंक न्‍याय की दिशा में मील का पत्‍थर है और समूचे देश के लिए संतोष का क्षण है।
