हाथी की मृत्यु पर कटघोरा के प्रभारी वन मंडलाधिकारी निलंबित

रायपुर 28 दिसम्बर।छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने कटघोरा वन परिक्षेत्र के कुल्हरिया के एक दलदली क्षेत्र में फसी मादा हाथी की मृत्यु की घटना को गंभीरता से लेते हुए कटघोरा वन परिक्षेत्र के प्रभारी वन मंडलाधिकारी डी.डी.संत को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित कर दिया गया है।

वन विभाग से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार कटघोरा वन परिक्षेत्र के श्री डी.डी.संत के द्वारा कुल्हरिया गांव में कीचड़ में फसी मादा हाथी को बचाने में कोई प्रयास नहीं किए जाने के कारण उसकी मृत्यु हो गई।इसे शासन ने गंभीरता से लेते हुए उन्हें छत्तीसगढ़ सिविल सेवा (आचरण) नियम के उल्लंघन का दोषी मानते हुए उनके विरूद्ध अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की गई है।
