कोविड संक्रमण के मामलों में वृद्धि महामारी की चौथी लहर नहीं

नई दिल्ली 02 मई।भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद(आईसीएमआर) ने कहा है कि हाल ही में कोविड संक्रमण के मामलों में वृद्धि को महामारी की चौथी लहर नहीं कहा जा सकता।

आईसीएमआर के अपर महानिदेशक समीरन पांडा ने कहा कि हाल ही में जिला स्‍तर पर संक्रमण में वृद्धि का पूरे राज्‍य और राष्‍ट्रीय स्‍तर पर आकलन नहीं लगाया जा सकता।कुछ जिलों में जो संक्रमण का आंकड़ा थोड़ा बढ़ता जा रहा है इसके ऊपर ध्‍यान रखना चाहिए। ये जो डिस्ट्रिक्‍ट लेवल डेटा है ये निर्णय करेगा कि डिस्ट्रिक्‍ट लेवल एक्‍शन क्‍या होना चाहिए। लेकिन ये जो जिला स्‍तर पर डेटा हैं इसको पूरा स्‍टेट या राज्‍य के ऊपर लागू करना सही नहीं रहेगा।

उन्होने कहा कि इसको हम छोटे-छोटे लहर या क्लिक कहते हैं लेकिन ये जो आंकड़ा ऊपर की तरफ जा रहा है इसको लेकर हम यह नहीं कह सकते हैं कि पूरा राज्‍य में या देश में चौथा लहर आ गया। यह बोलना गलत होगा।
