भारत में सहकारी समितियों ने पिछले सौ वर्षों में किया उल्लेखनीय काम

नई दिल्ली 04 जुलाई।केंद्रीय गृह और सहकारिता मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा है कि भारत में सहकारी समितियों ने पिछले सौ वर्षों में उल्लेखनीय काम किया है।

श्री शाह ने आज यहां सहकारिता के सौंवें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए सभी सहकारी समितियों से आगामी सौ वर्षों में और भी बेहतर काम करने का संकल्प लेने को कहा।उन्होने कहा कि चुनौतियों के बावजूद राष्ट्र में सहकारिता आंदोलन लगातार मजबूत होता गया।

उन्होने कहा कि हमारी संस्कृति का प्राण तत्व ही सहकारिता है। और भारत ने पूरी दुनिया को सहकारिता को आगे बढ़ाने का, सहकारिता के विचार को देने का काम किया है। हमारे यहां भी लगभग सवा सौ साल पुराना सहकारिता का इतिहास है। मित्रों, 30 लाख सहकारिता समितियां दुनिया में और कई सारे देश उसमें से अपने जीडीपी का बहुत बड़ा हिस्सा प्राप्त किया। भारत में भी आठ लाख 55 हजार सहकारी समितियां बनी हैं। और भारत की लगभग 12 करोड़ की आबादी सीधी इससे आर्थिक जीवनयापन कर पाये, इस प्रकार से हमने इस मॉडल को खड़ा किया है। देश के 51 प्रतिशत गांवों में कोई न कोई सहकारी समिति आज अस्तिस्व में है।
