बच्चोंं से दुष्कर्म के दोषियों को मौत की सजा के अध्यादेश को मंजूरी

नई दिल्ली 21 अप्रैल।केन्‍द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आपराधिक कानून संशोधन अध्‍यादेश को आज मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी।यह अध्यादेश अदालतों को 12 साल तक के बच्‍चों से दुष्‍कर्म के दोषियों को मौत की सजा देने का अधिकार प्रदान करेगा।

आधिकारिक सूत्रों ने बताया कि अध्‍यादेश में 16 वर्ष से कम आयु की बालिकाओं के साथ दुष्‍कर्म के मामले में न्‍यूनतम सजा 10 वर्ष से बढ़ाकर 20 वर्ष कर दिया गया है। इसे आजीवन कारावास में भी बढ़ाया जा सकता है।अब दुष्‍कर्म के सभी मामलों की जांच और सुनवाई दो महीने के भीतर ही पूरी करनी होगी। साथ ही 16 वर्ष से कम आयु की बालिका के साथ दुष्‍कर्म या सामूहिक दुष्‍कर्म के अभियुक्‍त को अग्रिम जमानत भी नहीं देने का प्रावधान किया गया है।
