होली से पहले केंद्र सरकार अपने कर्मचारियों को बड़ा तोहफा देने जा रही है। खबरों की मानें तो सरकार जल्द ही महंगाई भत्ते (Dearness Allowance – DA) में बढ़ोतरी की घोषणा कर सकती है। अभी तक सरकार की ओर से कोई आधिकारिक बयान नहीं आया है। पहले मीडिया रिपोर्ट में अंदाजा लगाया जा रहा था कि सरकारी कर्मचारियों को 3 फीसदी का डीए हाइक मिल सकता है। लेकिन, अब हालिया डेटा से संकेत मिलता है कि कर्मचारियों को निराशा हो सकती है।

इस बार होली 14 मार्च को है। माना जा रहा है कि मोदी सरकार 14 मार्च से पहले DA हाइक का एलान करके सरकारी कर्मचारियों को बड़ा तोहफा दे सकती है। इतना ही नहीं, महंगाई भत्ते के साथ-साथ Dearness Relief (DR) में भी बढ़ोतरी होने की उम्मीद है। इसका मतलब है कि पेंशनभोगियों की पेंशन भी बढ़ जाएगी।

साल में दो बार होता है DA संशोधन

7वें वेतन आयोग (7th Pay Commission) के नियमों के अनुसार, महंगाई भत्ते में साल में दो बार संशोधन किया जाता है। पहली बढ़ोतरी 1 जनवरी से लागू होती है। इसकी घोषणा आमतौर पर मार्च में की जाती है। वहीं, दूसरी बढ़ोतरी 1 जुलाई से लागू होती है, जिसका एलान सितंबर में होता है। इस बार जनवरी 2025 से लागू होने वाले DA बढ़ोतरी की घोषणा इसी महीने यानी मार्च में होने की उम्मीद है।

कैसे तय होता है महंगाई भत्ता?

केंद्र सरकार कर्मचारियों के वेतन में महंगाई भत्ते की बढ़ोतरी All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AICPIN-IW) के आधार पर करती है। यह सूचकांक देश में महंगाई और उपभोक्ता मूल्य स्तर को दर्शाता है। सरकार इस आंकड़े का छह महीने का औसत निकालकर DA बढ़ोतरी का फैसला लेती है।

इस बार कितना बढ़ सकता है DA?
