बीमार हाथी के स्वास्थ्य में सुधार जारी

रायपुर, 15 जून। कोरबा वनमंडल के ग्राम कठराडेरा में 14 जून को मिले अर्द्धवयस्क अस्वस्थ हाथी के स्वास्थ्य में धीरे-धीरे सुधार हो रहा है।

प्रधान मुख्य वन संरक्षक (वन्य प्राणी) अतुल शुक्ला ने बताया कि हाथी के स्वास्थ्य में सुधार जारी है। वन विभाग के अमले और ग्रामीणों की मदद से अस्वस्थ हाथी को कठराडेरा किसान के बाड़े से गांव में एक सुरक्षित जगह पर शिफ्ट किया गया है। वहां धूप और पानी से बचाव के लिए बांस-बल्ली की मदद से अस्थायी शेड बनाया गया है। मौके पर मौजूद एक्सपर्ट और चिकित्सक लगातार हाथी के श्वास की गति और तापमान पर निगरानी रखने के साथ ही आवश्यक दवाएं व ड्रीप दे रहे हैं।

उन्होने बताया कि यह अवस्यक हाथी शारीरिक कमजोरी की वजह से चलने-फिरने में असमर्थ है। चिकित्सकों की टीम लगातार इस बात का प्रयास कर रही है कि हाथी के शरीर में पर्याप्त ताकत आ जाएं ताकि वह चलने-फिरने लगे।
