पंजाब में अलर्ट, सरहद पर हाईटेक सीसीटीवी कैमरे से हो रही निगरानी

गणतंत्र दिवस से पहले अमृतसर के अटारी पहुंचने वाली हर गाड़ी की चेकिंग की जा रही है और वाहन नंबरों का भी रिकॉर्ड रखा जा रहा है। विलेज डिफेंस कमेटियां पूरी तरह हरकत में आ चुकी हैं। बीएसएफ और पंजाब पुलिस के साथ मिलकर सीमांत गांवों में पहरा दे रहीं हैं, ताकि उनके इलाके में कोई संदिग्ध घुसपैठ नहीं कर सके।

एक तरफ जहां बॉर्डर सिक्योरिटी फोर्स के सीमांत इलाकों में लगातार सर्च ऑपरेशन चलाए जा रहे हैं वहीं केंद्र सरकार की खुफिया एजेंसियों के अधिकारी लगातार स्थिति पर नजर रखे हुए हैं। पुलिस के सीनियर अधिकारियों की तैनाती बॉर्डर एरिया में की गई है। इसके लिए स्पेशल डीजीपी कानून व्यवस्था अर्पित शुक्ला को सुरक्षा इंतजामों के लिए नोडल अफसर लगाया गया है। डीआईजी बीएसएफ हेडक्वार्टर से अतिरिक्त फोर्स की बॉर्डर पर तैनाती की गई है। डिप्टी कमांडेंट स्तर के अधिकारी गश्त का नेतृत्व कर रहे हैं।

जिले में असामाजिक तत्वों पर नजर रखने के लिए करीब 200 सीमांत गांवों में सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए जा रहे हैं। इनमें से ज्यादातर कैमरों ने काम शुरू कर दिया है। पंजाब पुलिस की ओर से लगाए जाने वाले यह सीसीटीवी कैमरे सामान्य कैमरों से हटकर हैं। बड़े शहरों में लगाए गए सीसीटीवी कैमरों की तर्ज पर यह हाईटेक कैमरे बहुत संवेदनशील हैं। यह फेस डिटेक्शन सॉफ्टवेयर एंड आटोमैटिक नंबर प्लेट रेकोग्नेशन (एएनपीआर) की सुविधा से सुसज्जित है। यह चलती गाड़ी का नंबर प्लेट की पहचान करने से लेकर गाड़ी में सवार चेहरे पहचानने में भी सक्षम हैं।

संस्थानों की सुरक्षा का पूरा इंतजाम
पुलिस कमिश्नर गुरप्रीत सिंह भुल्लर ने बताया कि आतंकी अपराधी वारदात को अंजाम देने के बाद शहर से बाहर न जा पाए। इसको लेकर पुलिस पड़ोसी जिलों के पुलिस के मुखियों के साथ लगातार संपर्क में है। उनके साथ बैठकें की जा रही हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस को आने वाले इनपुट के आधार पर रणनीति तैयार की जा रही है। इसके अलावा सरकारी दफ्तरों, धार्मिक स्थलों और शहर के महत्वपूर्ण जगहों की सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम है।

एरिया के हिसाब से तैनाती
स्पेशल डीजीपी कानून व्यवस्था अर्पित शुक्ला को सुरक्षा इंतजामों के लिए नोडल अफसर लगाया गया है। बॉर्डर रेंज में सीनियर अफसर लगाए गए हैं। वहीं, जिले की कमान स्पेशल डीजीपी, एडीजीपी, आईजी व डीआईजी स्तर के अधिकारियों को सौंपी गई। कर्मचारियों की तैनाती जिले के एरिया के हिसाब से की गई है। अधिकारियों की ओर से अपना जिम्मा संभाल लिया गया है।

110 जगहों पर नाकेबंदी
